Use FTP to upload pages to your Mikrotec Personal Web space!

General FTP Upload Instructions:
|
- Connect to Mikrotec and Launch your FTP
Program.

- Select the option to create a new FTP site for Mikrotec. Name this site as you please. Then set the new
site's settings to point to Mikrotec and the pages on your disk.

- Select a file in your local directory (shown on the left side)and press the arrow pointing to the right. The file will be copied to the remote directory (shown on the right side). If the first file a person is to see when they come to your site isn't called index.html, you may wish to edit your site to see that it is. The index.html file is automatically displayed when a browser is pointed at your website's folder.

- If you want to upload an entire folder, take the option to select all files, and they should all become highlighted. Then press upload, and each marked file will be copied to the server. If you only have a fewfiles to change or add, its faster to copy them one at a time.
And that's it. By the time you've uploaded your files, you are ready to test them out in your browser. Best of all, your FTP program will never have to be told again where your Mikrotec Site is, and using it will become truly as easy as using the "Windows Explorer" to copy files on a single system.
